Skull Rim, Red Desert, Wyoming
In remote, southwest Wyoming there is an area that's similar to South Dakota's Badlands National Park, but completely off the beaten trail. I'm referring to the Red Desert area of Sweetwater County, Wyoming. It's remote, quiet, peaceful - and astoundingly beautiful, particularly at sunrise and sunset.
My first trip to this area was in August, 2016, to an area known as Adobe Town. This time, I was a few miles south of Adobe Town at a location generally known as Skull Rim.
